Swahili on the way up Kilimanjaro
Sara travels, and she does not travel quietly. Arabic is her main focus, but the languages follow wherever she goes, including Tanzania, where she spoke Swahili with the porters on a climb up Mount Kilimanjaro.
Her argument for learning a language is that it is the fastest icebreaker there is. Speaking even a little of someone's language changes what kind of conversation you get to have, and she says the experiences that follow change the person having them.

About Sara
Sara is an avid traveler who speaks several languages and seeks out people from other cultures wherever she goes. Arabic is her main focus, but she also travelled to Tanzania and spoke Swahili with the porters on a climb up Mount Kilimanjaro. She treats language as the icebreaker that turns a trip into a relationship.
