Activity 1: Location or direction?

Read the following sentences and for the underlined parts decide which indicates location and which indicates direction. Remember that location triggers the dative case and direction triggers the accusative case.

  1. In der Bibliothek gibt es viele Bücher, die in den Regalen stehen.
