É mesmo? Translation: Really?	É mesmo? Você vai se mudar para outro país? Translation: Really? Are you moving to another country?
Eita! Translation: Jeez!	Eita! Você acordou agora? Translation: Jeez! You woke up now?
Estou chocado(a)! Translation: I'm shocked!	Estou chocada com essa notícia! Translation: I am shocked by this news!
Fala sério! / Sério? Translation: Seriously?	Fala sério, você comprou mais um vestido? Translation: Seriously, did you buy another dress?
Gente do céu! Translation: Oh, my God!	Gente do céu, você viu o tamanho dessa onda? Translation: Oh, my God, did you see the size of this wave?
Impressionante! Translation: Impressive! / It's amazing!	É impressionante como a Valeria está sempre atrasada! Translation: It’s amazing how Valeria is always late!
Não acredito! Translation: I can't believe (it)!	Não acredito que você conseguiu o emprego dos seus sonhos! Translation: I can’t believe you got the job of your dreams!
Não é possível! Translation: It's not possible!	Não é possível que você fez isso sozinho!! Translation: It’s not possible that you did this alone!
Não me diga! Translation: Don't tell me!	Não me diga que você vai participar do programa de TV! Translation: Don’t tell me you're going to be on the TV show!

Oxente! Translation: Gosh more common in the northeast of Brazil	Oxente! Você não vai almoçar? Translation: Gosh! Are you not going to have lunch?

Exclamations of conformity and agreement

Beleza! Translation: Ok / Right / Alright!	Beleza! Vamos nos encontrar no café às 3 da tarde. Translation: Ok! Let’s meet at the cafe at 3 pm.
Certo! Translation: Ok / Right / Alright!	Certo! A reunião está marcada para amanhã de manhã. Translation: Right! The meeting is scheduled for tomorrow morning.
Claro! Translation: Sure!	Claro! Posso te ajudar a montar esse móvel. Translation: Sure! I can help you assemble this furniture.
Com certeza! Translation: For sure!	Com certeza eu vou no jantar de despedida da Marcela! Translation: For sure I will go to Marcela’s farewell dinner!
Concordo totalmente/plenamente! Translation: Totally/completely agree!	Concordo totalmente! Essa é uma ótima ideia para o projeto. Translation: I totally agree! This is a great idea for the project.
É isso aí! Translation: That’s it!	É isso aí! Conseguimos finalmente terminar o trabalho. Translation: That’s it! We were finally able to finish the job.
É verdade! Translation: That’s true! / True thing!	É verdade! O filme foi lançado na semana passada. Translation: That’s true! The film was released last week.
Exatamente! Translation: Exactly!	Exatamente! A resposta está na página 42 do livro Translation: Exactly! The answer is on page 42 of the book.
Isso / isso mesmo Translation: That’s it!	Isso! Você entendeu a questão. Translation: That’s it! You understood the question.
Joia / Joinha* Translation: Ok / Right / Alright! most common in Minas Gerais in Brazi	Joia! Vamos nos encontrar na praça central. Translation: Alright! We will meet in the central square.
Legal! Translation: Cool!	Legal! Vou adorar ver as fotos das suas férias Translation: Cool! I will love to see photos of your vacation.
Maravilha! Translation: Wonderful!	Maravilha! Você conseguiu o emprego que queria. Translation: Wonderful! You got the job you wanted.
Perfeito! Translation: Perfect!	Perfeito! A apresentação ficou excelente. Translation: Perfect! The presentation was excellent.
Pois é! Translation: I know!	Pois é! O trânsito estava caótico hoje de manhã. Translation: I know! The traffic was chaotic this morning.
Sem dúvida! Translation: No doubt!	Sem dúvida! O novo sistema vai facilitar nosso trabalho. Translation: No doubt! The new system will make our work easier.
Sem sombra de dúvidas! Translation: Without a doubt!	Sem sombra de dúvidas, ela é a melhor jogadora do time. Translation: Without a doubt, she is the best player on the team.
Valeu Translation: Cheers! / Thanks!	Valeu pelo convite! Estou animado para a festa. Translation: Thanks for the invite! I’m excited for the party.

Deus do céu! Translation: Oh, my God!	Deus do céu! Você viu aquela batida de carro? Translation: Oh my God! Did you see that car crash?
Jesus! Translation: Jesus!	Jesus! A prova de matemática está mais difícil do que eu pensava. Translation: Jesus! The math test is harder than I thought.

Ainda bem! Translation: Fortunately!	Ainda bem! A chuva parou antes do nosso passeio. Translation: Fortunately the rain stopped before our tour.
Ufa! Translation: Phew!	Ufa! Cheguei a tempo para a reunião. Translation: Phew! I arrived on time for the meeting.

Oxalá! Translation: I hope so! most common in the northeast of Brazil	Oxalá a previsão do tempo esteja errada e faça sol amanhã. Translation: The party was great, but I had to leave early. Oh well!I hope the weather forecast is wrong and it's sunny tomorrow.
Amém! Translation: Amen!	Amém! Que tudo dê certo na sua entrevista de emprego. Translation: I hope that everything goes well in your job interview.
Queira Deus! Translation: God willing!	Queira Deus que a viagem será tranquila e segura. Translation: God willing the trip will be peaceful and safe.
Se Deus quiser! Translation: If it is God's will!	Voltaremos aqui no próximo ano, se Deus quiser! Translation: We will be back here next year, God willing!
