Activity 1: A trip to Jericoacoara

Camila and André are planning to go to Jericoacoara, a beautiful beach town in the Northeast of Brazil. As they have never been there before, Camila wants to know some useful information. Their conversation is written below. Can you select the six verbs conjugated in the present subjunctive?

Activity 2: Mara’s advice

Camila talked to Mara to try to get some tips about visiting Jericoacoara. Complete the sentences with the verbs in the present subjunctive form of the verbs in parentheses to find out what Mara recommended.
  1. Primeiro, eu espero que (fazer sol) !

  2. É importante que vocês (levar protetor solar) e repelente de mosquitos.

  3. Eu duvido que (chover) lá, então não levem guarda-chuva.

  4. Caso você (querer) tomar um suco de caju, vá ao restaurante central.
