Mango features
For the part of learning that isn't vocabulary
Most people who stall in a new language aren't short of words. They're afraid of getting it wrong out loud, and Mindware is built for that half of the problem.
What it is
A guided programme, alongside the courses
Mindware is a guided programme blending meditation, affirmations and hypnosis, designed for language learners rather than adapted from a general wellbeing app. You can listen in your native language, in the language you're learning, or in a mix of the two, so a session can double as exposure while you relax.
Each session is an audio track with its script on the page, so you can follow the words as you hear them. Sessions run from about five minutes to a quarter of an hour, which means one fits before a lesson or at the end of a day without being an event you have to plan.
Because the script is right there, the same word-tap you use everywhere else in Mango works here too. If a phrase in the target language goes past you, tap it and keep listening rather than stopping to look it up.
All of it is aimed at one moment: the one where you know the words and say nothing anyway. Mindware is designed to make that moment less expensive, so you speak up sooner than you would have.
Mindware is available for Latin American Spanish today.

How it works
Three things it's designed to do
Anxiety is the part of language learning nobody schedules time for, and it is the part that decides whether you speak up. These are aimed at that rather than at vocabulary. They work on the state you arrive in, so the lesson has somewhere to land.
Settle the nerves first
Guided meditation aimed at the fear of making mistakes, the thing that most often keeps a capable learner silent in a conversation.
Listen your way
Positive affirmations, guided meditations and subliminal tracks, in your language, your target language, or both together.
Built on comprehensible input
Designed around Krashen's theory of comprehensible input, the same principle behind Mango's reading and course material.
See it in action
What a session sounds like
Twelve minutes from Mindware, with the audio and the script on screen as you listen.
Where it fits
It doesn't replace the lessons
Mindware sits alongside the courses rather than instead of them. If you're looking for the part of Mango that teaches the language itself, start with how the method works.
Say it before you feel ready
Mindware comes with Latin American Spanish. Start the course and it's there alongside it.
