My teachers are saying that the students who are using the ESL programs with their native language support are displaying added confidence and excitement when they get on the program. The fact that they are able to understand the instruction in their native language is invaluable.

In just the few times I’ve used Mango [Little Pim] w/ a first grader I have already seen improvement in her trying to talk. When I sit with her while she is doing it it generates conversation about the foods and drinks.
Plus, she is initiating the conversation! She doesn’t really talk much so
this is huge.

French, German and Spanish language students are using Mango Languages Online at home, at school and at wifi hotspots throughout our city resulting in increased motivation and enthusiasm for classroom learning. Mango Online is easy for students to access, fun to use and students are really learning to understand and speak another language and gaining the confidence to use it in and outside the classroom.
Need to brush up on a foreign language? Mango is the place to go to learn foreign language at your own pace and in a fun and engaging way. Schools, if willing to pay the fee, can use this site to provide teachers with additional resources for their classrooms. The general public can use it to simply learn a new language. Read more…
I’m using it (Mango) as a supplement for my Japanese Class. Taught myself some Mandarin over the summer, plan on learning more soon!
