Mango in Your Library

Community building through language education

The public need for easily-accessible language learning, and ESL learning in particular, is growing. Mango meets this need in a fun, easy and affordable way, making it one of the most popular and budget-conscious resources in your library.

We focus specifically on supporting libraries, and provide services that help meet the growing language needs of your community. Our team is committed to providing the best learning experience available, and to continue growing and improving that experience based on the needs of your staff and patrons - both now and in the future.

Our system provides everything you need to get started. There’s no training, downloads or installation required - all users need is an internet connection and a membership at your library. Simply direct them to your website and we’ll do the rest.

Mango was selected by The New York Public Library as a Best of Reference library resource.

Best of Reference is an annual list of books, websites, and electronic resources selected by a committee of librarians for their usefulness in branch reference collections. Selection criteria include value and appropriateness for branch collections, organization of material, style of presentation, and authority of authors and editors.

"Languages will be learned online. And what's more, you'll never associate the word mango with fruit alone after you've taken Mango Languages for a test drive. This web-based language learning program (which patrons access for free through their library's site and use in the privacy of their homes) is intuitively designed and equipped with every tool imaginable, including audio narration."
