How may I help you?
A restaurant named Haohai Robot Restaurant located in Harbin, China has started to phase from human workers to a staff of 18 robots that cook, clean and serve their patrons. Clearly a unique sight today, but one day this might be the norm in other countries as well!
Road rage, be gone!
Stop…go…stop…go. We’ve all been there. It’s early and we’ve got to get to work, just like everyone else on the congested roads. If only there was an entrepreneur who wanted to take advantage of this business opportunity and provide us with a nonstop path to our destination…if only. Well, entrepreneurs in China have done just that. Here’s how it works: you’re stuck in traffic, panicking and annoyed. You call the service and they send two men to come pick you up on a motorcycle. One man drives you to your destination, while the other sits in the traffic to drive your car to the same destination. Not a bad idea, right?
One can of air, please.
In order to serve those concerned about air quality in some of China’s smoggier cities, a company called Chen Guangbaio developed a decidedly unique product: air in a can! Conveniently priced at around 5 yuan each.
That looks familiar…
We all know how popular Starbucks coffee is in the US. In fact, many people can’t get through the day without a cup of their favorite blend. But China gave a little twist to this classic coffee joint by creating Teabucks. We’re sure you can guess what the beverage of choice is here!
