New Features

February 19, 2008 |

Our language program will now “remember” where you left off, and will bring you to that very spot the next time you login. If you’re working with multiple languages, it’ll “remember” where you are in each course.

We’ll be launching a more sophisticated bookmarking feature in the near future. Stay tuned.

I was wondering if you have considered making the characters more distinct for those of us trying to learn to read and write them. I love using the website but I wish I could see all the strokes, etc. clearly. Then, of course, as long as I’m wishing for things, strokes numbered would be unbelievable! I know, dream on! Thanks for listening.

Hi Jennifer…although I cannot reveal some of the things going on here in the Mango labs, I can assure you that your request has crossed our development table a few times… :D

You’re very welcome Latoya. We’re glad you enjoy Mango! O~

I love the new updates! I remember the day I logged on and Mango remembered where I left off, I was like awesome. Keep up the good work!

I recently didn’t have too much time to follow my Japanese course here. So I haven’t been here for a while. Today I first noticed that You replaced the sweet, natural, female narrators voice with some unappealing, computer generated, male voice. I really hate that. I mean, I really do. It annoys me to the point where it takes all the fun out of the lessons.

I am loving the German “sprakors” which is helping me to become familiar again with German learned 30 years ago. I wonder if there is a way I can review a list of nouns with their gender identities? I would also be interested in seeing all the conversations listed out so I would know which ones I should review and go directly to that chapter.

I am enjoying the French course I subscribed to there is mention of tests and quizzes but I have found none obviously repeating the lessons works like that to some degree but some further interaction outside of the lessons would be nice plus the site seems so deserted no one ever around I am in the UK maybe that makes a difference. But a great tool never tied to learn a language in my life apart from English :) but loving it.
